“Make Your Own” DIY Birthday Party Themes

This is one of our favorite types of birthday parties. We’re a sucker for diy party ideas like “make your own ice cream sundaes” or “decorate your own cupcakes.” It’s a particularly great idea for kids because it is a fun activity that kids can focus on and enjoy. Plus you take care of food and fun all at once. Sure, it can turn into a big mess, but it allows you to control the types of things kids are eating, and easily take care of dietary constraints or picky eaters.

Admittedly, “make your own salad” doesn’t seem quite as fun.
